Warranty Policy

DWARFLAB warrants that all new DWARFLAB telescopes (excluding refurbished products) and accessories be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year (12 months) from the date of purchase. If, upon our inspection, any product or its components are found to be defective in terms of materials or workmanship, we promise to either repair or replace the faulty item. To activate this warranty, the buyer's information must be provided, and the defective product be returned to DWARFLAB, as per our outlined procedures.

Warranty Coverage

Excludes damage from misuse, neglect, accidental drops, alterations, improper installation, abnormal conditions, improper storage, liquid submersion, unauthorized modifications or repairs, and shipping incidents.
Claims must be reported to DWARFLAB's Customer Service within the warranty period.
Overrides all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Excludes damage from non-DWARFLAB accessories.
Does not cover normal wear and tear.
Does not apply to products from rental programs or second-hand items from unauthorized sources.

Original Purchaser Guarantee

This warranty is valid only for the original DWARFLAB telescope purchasers who have proof of purchase from DWARFLAB's official or authorized stores. As those units are verified to meet original specifications through rigorous testing. Modifications, mishandling, improper storage, or accidental drops can compromise optical performance and durability, which is why our warranty is non-transferable.

Warranty and Repair Return Requirements

For Customers

  1. Before returning, you must get a Return Authorization from DWARFLAB. Contact us at support@dwarflab.com for instructions.
  1. All warranty returns must include proof of purchase that DWARFLAB accepts.
  1. Include a note with the product's Serial Number (at bottom of the telescope), your name, address, email address, daytime phone number, and a description of the issue with all returns. Any parts replaced will become DWARFLAB's property.
  1. Customers are responsible for shipping and insurance costs to DWARFLAB.

DWARFLAB's Commitment

  1. We aim to repair or replace any products under warranty within thirty days of receipt. If repairs take longer, we will inform the customer.
  2. If a product has been discontinued, we may replace it with a new item of similar value and function.

Return Policy

We stand behind everything we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item(s) in new (fully resellable) condition within 30 days of receipt for a refund, excluding shipping fees. Prior approval is required before returning an item (email to: support@dwarflab.com). Full details on our Returns process can be found below.
For orders outside the EU, UK, and US (referred to as "other countries"), where we lack local overseas warehouses, returns or exchanges without valid reasons are not supported. We rely on DHL international express shipping, with customers responsible for customs clearance and fees. In cases of acknowledged product quality issues, we can facilitate returns or exchanges, covering the shipping costs. However, we are not responsible for any customs duty expenses incurred.
  1. Include your order number and your reason for return and the product's photos and SN number (found on the base's bottom) in your email to support@dwarflab.com and we'll send you a shipping label. Print the label and attach it to the parcel in one week, then drop the parcel to courier and let us know when it arrives so we can refund you. Refunds will be credited to your account within 3-5 business days.
  1. It is the customer’s responsibility to securely package and insure the returned item(s). Any merchandise that does not arrive in new condition will be subject to a restocking fee. Missing parts, packaging, instructions, etc., as well as damage or other detrimental effects to merchandise, will result in higher restocking fees. Restocking fees will be determined by DWARFLAB after inspecting the merchandise and then will be deducted in refund.
  1. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs if the return is for personal reasons. On items that require shipping, we do not refund the shipping cost. Additionally, customers are responsible for the cost of returning the product. All associated costs will be deducted from the refund.
  2. We wanted to take a moment to clarify our return policy regarding refurbished products. As per our policy, refurbished items are not eligible for returns without reason. This policy helps us maintain the high quality and affordability of these products, ensuring that we can continue to offer them at competitive prices.
